DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide website planning, design, development, implementation, testing, hosting, deployment, migration, launch, and training services using an open-source content management system, with WordPress preferred unless another platform offers compelling advantages. The website will serve as a primary regional gateway for investment, trade, supply chain development, and strategic economic partnerships, while functioning as an active marketing, storytelling, and investment-attraction tool.

Search engine optimization and Generative Engine Optimization for AI-driven search platforms must be integrated throughout discovery, information architecture, design, and development. Requirements include performance and page-speed optimization, image optimization, SSL implementation, XML sitemap generation, metadata management, spam protection for public forms, GIS integration, metadata architecture, schema markup, FAQ schema, an llms.txt file, and citation-friendly content structures.

The work will also include photography direction and optimization, videography integration and adaptive delivery, and the development of a modern visual identity suitable for investors, industry, government, Indigenous nations, and strategic partners. The website should include a reusable design system with page templates, typography, color palette, buttons, cards, icons, and other interface components, while supporting future expansion without significant redesign or redevelopment.
