The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive student safety system with an emphasis on visitor management, security checks, emergency reunification, and notification capabilities. The solution must support emergency planning and drills as well as robust student and staff identification features. The system should deliver an intuitive, user-friendly web-based front end with seamless integration into existing student information systems and active directories.

Technical requirements include compatibility with Apple iPad 8th Generation devices running the current iOS, role-based security and access controls, and support for single sign-on. The identification component must support scanning of IDs, badge barcodes, QR codes, or manual entry, with the ability to capture visitor images and retain prior visitor records for swift retrieval. Self-sign in restrictions must be configurable for first-time or recurring visitors. The notification system should provide confidential alerts for failed screenings, as well as email and app notifications. Entry and exit tracking must be comprehensive, paired with local and district-level reporting.

The attendance and pass management module should facilitate the creation and printing of both staff and student identification badges using data from HR and student information systems, with support for RFID, QR code, and barcode technologies. Scanning and check-in processes for students, daily and period-based attendance tracking, and deep integration with student information systems are essential elements of the required solution.
