SAP S/4 HANA Implementation Project Assurance and Quality Assurance Services

The government authority in Sacramento, California is seeking a vendor to provide independent project assurance and quality assurance services for its enterprise-wide transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. The selected firm will support internal audit services by monitoring, evaluating, and advising on project activities across the full transformation lifecycle.

The engagement will include real-time review of project deliverables, processes, and controls as they are produced, with assessment activities conducted continuously throughout the implementation. Services will involve reviewing relevant documentation, interviewing key stakeholders, and providing interim feedback to the Internal Audit Department at least every two weeks, including identified improvement opportunities and top risks.

The scope also includes reviewing strategies and plans related to data migration, rollout and go-live, business continuity, training, and security to help ensure risks are appropriately managed. The vendor will also verify that change control practices are being followed and that project documentation remains current, comprehensive, and auditable. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 21, 2026, and questions are due by June 16, 2026.
