A government authority located in Sacramento, California, is seeking a vendor to provide integration, operations, and maintenance services for a Roadside Toll System (RTS). The Toll System Integrator (TSI) will deliver a complete and fully functional electronic toll collection system, encompassing all necessary hardware, software, interfaces, electrical, and communications equipment.
The RTS must interface seamlessly with the existing Commercial Back Office (CBO) and utilize a range of technologies to facilitate toll collection. Integral to the system are provisions for an extensive closed-circuit television (CCTV) monitoring system and robust roadside data communications capabilities.
Vendors will also be responsible for providing fiber optic cabling or alternative cabling solutions for both the Roadside Network and Backhaul Network to support data transmission and system connectivity.
