DESCRIPTION
The issuing city seeks a qualified vendor to provide entertaining and visually impressive drone light shows for city-planned events. The performances should engage the public, support safe and environmentally conscious celebrations, and increase attendance and participation.
The selected vendor will be responsible for comprehensive show delivery, including planning, custom animations, programming, execution, event management and staffing, permitting, fees, licensing, setup, takedown, equipment monitoring, and sound production. The vendor must develop show designs covering animations, color schemes, the required number of drones, synchronization of formations with music and other event features, and environmentally friendly solutions with minimal environmental impact.
The vendor must provide an appropriate number of drones to achieve the approved artistic design and level of complexity. The drones must perform for the full show duration without degradation in lighting, GPS accuracy, or flight stability. Edited high-resolution video and photography of each performance must also be provided to the city for archival and promotional use. Questions are due no later than August 14, 2026.
