Downtown Activation and Events Services

This RFP seeks a vendor to provide downtown activation and events services in California. The selected provider will design, implement, and manage a comprehensive downtown activation program, leveraging art, culture, and community-based programming in collaboration with city stakeholders. The objective is to stimulate economic activity and revitalize the downtown area through a diverse range of creative and scalable activations, such as art installations, concerts, festivals, pop-ups, and micro-business events.

Key deliverables include program design and management, development and execution of a marketing and communication strategy to promote activations, integration of arts and cultural programming, organization of events such as concerts and markets, and facilitation of pop-ups featuring local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and artists. The initiative aims to attract entrepreneurs, new businesses, workers, residents, and visitors, and to bring the downtown area to life through engaging experiences and economic stimulation.
