The vendor will provide website design, development, hosting, deployment, and journal submission services. The solution must include a fully integrated journal submission, manuscript review, and web publishing and hosting platform operated on a separately hosted third-party journal publishing platform.
The platform must support single-source XML publishing, Git-style repositories for individual papers, containerized software environments, customizable user interfaces, full-text search with facets and taxonomy, and social media integration. It must host HTML and XML content, provide downloads for various content types, support streaming audio and video with optional video hosting, and accept figure files in formats including PDF, TIFF, EPS, BMP, PNG, and JPG.
The system must also allow authors to upload supplemental materials such as text documents, figures, tables, video, audio, software, computational notebooks, source code, and datasets.
