Website Build and Design Services Using Drupal CMS

Discovery period: Within 1st month after contract award.

Final website designs and templates: Within 4th month.

Content migration: Within 7th month.

This RFP seeks a vendor to design and build a new website utilizing the Drupal content management system. The project scope includes creating a back-end media database for storing and managing images, files, videos, and other media content for use across the site. The vendor will design and build a newsroom and media landing page, which will feature contact information for the communications office, news releases, and resources tailored for media members.

The selected firm will define and implement the website’s visual design, including color palettes, font specifications, spacing, buttons, headings, and other graphical elements. The project requires building or updating landing pages for each section, along with robust search functionality across the entire website to ensure users receive relevant results. Additionally, editorial user roles, permissions, and workflow tools must be developed to support efficient content management and moderation for unpublished, draft, and published states.

The contract includes content migration for agreed-upon materials following the discovery phase, as well as performing search engine optimization (SEO) to maximize the site’s visibility. The initial contract period for these services will be one year.
