DESCRIPTION

The procuring organization is seeking information from vendors capable of providing a web-based real-time location system (RTLS) for asset management and tracking. The solution must quickly and accurately identify nonexpendable inventory using manufacturer-supplied and vendor-supplied RTLS tags as needed. It must read, track, and store asset information with room-level accuracy, including the current location, date, equipment entry number, serial number, equipment name, and assigned equipment inventory list number.

The system must provide real-time analytics, automated reporting, dashboards for inventory status, utilization, and alarms, and exports in CSV and PDF formats. Location changes must synchronize within five minutes, and reconciliation reports must show no more than one percent discrepancies. The solution must include location-based alarms with escalation capabilities and support scanning and reading RTLS tags under heavily contaminated conditions.

The contractor will also be expected to prepare authorization-to-operate documentation, including system security controls, system security plan inputs, diagrams, configurations, and vulnerability management evidence. This sources-sought request is set aside for total small business participation.
