DESCRIPTION


The issuing organization is seeking a vendor to support the planning and execution of a comprehensive 2027 Semicon Japan Trade Mission for a California delegation. The selected contractor will provide trade mission support services designed to help semiconductor industry participants engage with potential Japanese business partners and participate effectively in Semicon Japan.

Scope of work includes development of marketing materials such as flyers and social media content, outreach at relevant industry events to recruit participants, and identification of Japanese companies interested in sourcing from, buying from, or partnering with state semiconductor companies. The contractor is also expected to arrange at least 10 pre-vetted, tailored business meetings for each state delegate, either during the Semicon Japan trade show or during the trade mission week.

Additional responsibilities include planning a networking event during each city stop in Japan, inviting local industry partners, government agencies, and business representatives, and creating opportunities for delegates to present their products or services. The contractor will also arrange group transportation for delegation activities in Japan, coordinate group lunch during transit if needed, support the California delegation with registration and attendance at the Semicon Japan trade show, and provide printed meeting schedules for each California delegate on the first day of the trade mission.
