Sandbags Supplies

The government authority in El Paso, Texas is seeking a vendor to supply approximately 100,000 filled sandbags. Production must occur onsite as directed, with sandbags stacked at specific contractual locations. The sandbags are required to be made from new, unused polypropylene or polyethylene woven fabric, weighing at least four ounces per square yard, in white with UV protection.

Each empty sandbag should measure 14 x 26 inches and must hold up to 50 pounds of sand. All sandbags must be securely filled and tied to prevent leakage, tearing, rupture, or failure during handling, transportation, stacking, storage, or deployment. The dry sand used should have a specific gradation: 100% passing a 3/8 sieve, 100% passing No. 4 sieve, 35% passing No. 50 sieve, and 2% passing No. 200 sieve. The materials must be free from defects, and all requirements must be met as specified for quality and durability.

Interested vendors must submit all questions by July 6, 2026. A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 30, 2026.
