Production and Communication Service

This RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive production and communication services, with a focus on materials and media supporting natural resources and earth science topics. The scope includes creating educational video content; designing, laying out, and producing technical scientific reports, flyers, factsheets, periodicals, and general audience publications; as well as managing print production and developing social media and audio/visual content.

The selected vendor will support all aspects of content development including copyediting, proofreading, and adherence to style and graphic standards, as well as compliance with federal accessibility requirements. Responsibilities also encompass design, graphics, photography, infographics, schematics, map layout and cartography for outreach, informational services, advertising, social media, web, and print products. Project management, planning, and strategic design consultation for larger publications and campaigns are required, along with support in licensing and content research.

Coordination with content development, editing, and graphics teams is essential to ensure cohesive and accessible deliverables. The vendor must demonstrate the capability to fulfill both digital and print production needs, create materials for diverse audiences, and support overarching communication strategies.
