The government authority in Ventura, California, is seeking an owner's representative to support design review, construction oversight, occupied-site rehabilitation, resident relocation coordination, and project close-out activities. The representative will review construction drawings at each design milestone for accuracy, completeness, consistency, constructability, compliance with the project program, and applicable codes. Responsibilities also include reviewing specifications, evaluating value-engineering proposals and their impacts, assessing consultant or design-build proposals, coordinating among consultants, attending or organizing meetings, and evaluating construction costs and contractor budgets.
