The vendor will provide services to strengthen local food system resilience in response to supply chain disruptions, concerns about food affordability and food insecurity, and uncertainty surrounding external food assistance programs. The project will address food production, distribution, access, security, and resilience.
Work will include data collection, community engagement, and development of an implementation-ready Local Food Systems Plan containing strategies and potential Comprehensive Plan recommendations. The vendor must provide accessibility accommodations, including accessible digital content, and use interactive engagement methods such as small-group discussions, visual tools, and polling.
A community engagement survey must be developed in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The contract period will be one year. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by August 28, 2026.
