DESCRIPTION


The county seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive liability claims adjusting services for a three-year contract period. The selected provider will deliver strategic recommendations, maintain proactive communication, and support efforts to minimize claim costs and liability exposure.

Services will include end-to-end administration of existing and new liability claims, prompt investigations, reserve analysis, litigation management, settlement negotiations, payment processing, subrogation and recovery efforts, legal administration, claims reporting, records management, and financial oversight. The vendor must maintain a claims management information system capable of recording file activity and generating reports, along with an electronic data security system incorporating access, integrity, financial, and continuity controls.

The provider must maintain 24-hour emergency contact capability and offer a rapid local response for serious incidents requiring investigation at the accident scene. Legal administration and development of damages information will also be required, including property damage, injuries, medical costs, lost wages, other economic damages, and non-economic damages. Questions are due by September 4, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 24, 2026.
