Digital Microscope and Support Package for USDA ARS ADRU

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Animal Disease Research Unit (ADRU) is conducting market research to identify qualified and experienced contractors capable of providing a domestically sourced high-resolution digital microscope system, along with all necessary components and a support package.

Required equipment specifications include a high-resolution imaging system with over 8 million pixels, a minimum 27-inch high-resolution display monitor, and 20x–200x magnification capability without the need to switch lens hardware. The microscope must be equipped with an integrated stage camera for sample placement and focusing, a wide-angle stage view, built-in user training resources, license-free viewer software for remote analysis, at least a 1TB hard drive, and dual camera capability for combining high-resolution observation imaging with a secondary wide-field imaging component.

Delivery is expected within sixty days following contract award, and the service contract is expected to be completed by the end of the service year. All products and services provided must be sourced domestically.
