Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist and Physical Therapy Assistant Services

The government authority in Granbury, Texas, seeks a vendor to provide bilingual speech-language pathology and physical therapy assistant services for students ages 3 to 22. The bilingual speech-language pathologist will conduct speech and language evaluations in Spanish, participate in annual, review, and dismissal meetings, demonstrate knowledge of assistive technology, prepare required reports, and maintain accurate records in accordance with licensure requirements, administrative regulations, and district policies.

The speech-language pathologist will be expected to maintain professional conduct when communicating with educational staff, students, parents, and administrators, with responsibility for completing required professional development hours. The physical therapy assistant will provide services under the supervision of the independent school district physical therapist and support special education students in improving learning outcomes.

The physical therapy assistant will assist education staff with standards-based goals for individualized education plans covering activities of daily living, health education, motor, vocational, and physical education. Services may be delivered in various school settings, including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, cafeterias, and bathrooms. The contract term will be one year, and questions must be submitted by September 2, 2026.
