The government authority in Torrington, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive Zeller assessment services. The project includes developing a work plan for subsurface investigation activities, conducting geophysical surveys to identify potential subsurface anomalies, and collecting soil and groundwater samples for laboratory analysis focused on contaminants of concern.
Vendors are expected to interpret data to evaluate the extent and magnitude of contamination, develop a Conceptual Site Model (CSM), and deliver a thorough investigation report with no significant data gaps. The report must clearly present environmental data and explain and validate the CSM. Additional tasks include reviewing and evaluating available information on the identified building structure on the property, including blueprints and relevant materials provided by the authority, with recommendations on the structural viability for redevelopment purposes. The selected consultant will also be responsible for installing a construction sign on the property.
Questions must be submitted no later than March 23, 2026, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 19, 2026.
