The government authority in Washington seeks vendors to provide youth safety and belonging initiative services targeting high school aged youth. The initiative aims to implement innovative, healing-centered strategies that foster safe communities, stability, and overall well-being for youth. The program is designed to promote positive youth development, reduce youth violence both on and off-site, and establish sustainable pathways to opportunity, ensuring that youth are able to thrive in secure, supportive, and connected environments.

Services offered should enhance social-emotional skills, conflict-resolution abilities, and provide a coordinated continuum of academic, social-emotional, and enrichment supports to the priority population. This includes after-school tutoring, homework assistance, Social Emotional Learning focused curricula, leadership development, and structured enrichment activities to promote academic success, positive relationships, and well-being. The initiative may incorporate approaches such as hosting community events, in-school or at-school programs or events, and street outreach in and around neighborhoods or schools to further support youth safety and belonging.
