DESCRIPTION

The government authority in California seeks qualified individuals or organizations to provide workplace readiness development services. This includes modernization of an online work readiness course titled 'Blueprint for Workplace Success,' creation of sector-based apprenticeship pathway resources, and development of an AI-powered chatbot to support the curriculum.

The AI chatbot must be designed, developed, and deployed as a secure, scalable solution integrated with the modernized Blueprint for Workplace Success curriculum and Learning Management System (LMS), offering round-the-clock support for learners and instructors. The digital conversion scope involves producing an LMS-ready, interactive course with mobile responsiveness, progress tracking, accessibility compliance, and chapter-end reflections or conversational prompts.

In addition, the project calls for media production such as 'Day-in-the-Life' short videos or animated explainers and employer testimonials, with scripting, storyboarding, and post-production. AI model development and training will power a soft skills testing tool, including document intelligence services for interpreting instructional content and participant responses. The AI tool must be integrated with existing SBWIB systems and supported by Azure cloud services for storage, search, document intelligence, and AI model services. The vendor will also be responsible for user interface and front-end design, ensuring the AI chatbot is user-friendly and effectively references curriculum content during assessments.
