The government authority in San Luis Obispo, California seeks a provider for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Services. The selected vendor will deliver a range of services including tutoring, study skills training, academic instruction, and evidence-based dropout prevention and recovery strategies to support youth in completing secondary school requirements, recognized equivalents, or obtaining postsecondary credentials.
Additional services include alternative secondary school or dropout recovery programs, paid and unpaid work experiences such as summer and year-round employment, pre-apprenticeship programs, internships, job shadowing, and on-the-job training. Leadership development activities—such as community service, peer-centered activities, financial literacy education, and entrepreneurial skills training—are also required. The contract will be for one year, with the opportunity for a pre-proposal conference and submission of questions prior to the deadline.
