DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive workers compensation third-party administrator services. This includes program and claims administration, assuming immediate responsibility for ongoing claim management without disruption, and the provision of a web-based claims administration system. Data conversion services must be performed to ensure no loss of existing information. Key services include indemnity and disability payment processing, medical cost management, bill review according to fee schedules, fraud detection and control, and regulatory reporting per state and federal requirements.

Vendors must ensure robust data security and privacy protocols, maintain attendance at claims and administrative meetings, and present evidence of SAS 70 certification. The claims administration software should have the capacity to interface with APS's current Quick Internet Solutions system. Additional responsibilities comprise medical case management, investigative services, collaboration on safety recommendations, and the management of physician, physical therapy, and pharmacy benefits networks.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for March 16, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by March 20, 2026. The initial contract term is for one year.
