The City of Louisiana is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive workers compensation claims administration services. The selected Third-Party Administrator (TPA) must offer a toll-free telephone line for claims reporting and enable secure electronic methods for agencies and claimants to report incidents and claims. Additional methods for claims submission, such as mail, fax, and email, should also be accepted.
The TPA will be responsible for preparing and reviewing deliverables before submission to the City and must monitor turnaround times as well as accuracy rates. Assistance to City Risk Management staff with IT and reporting needs—including data field research, troubleshooting, and the creation of custom loss runs and reports—is required. All TPA procedures must accommodate various types of claims submittals and allow for customizable data fields and report generation. Successful fulfillment of all related responsibilities is expected to ensure efficient claims administration.
