The selected vendor will provide actuarial study services for workers compensation and general liability to a government authority in Dallas, Texas. The consultant will utilize a combination of historical loss experience, industry trends, and actuarial methodologies to estimate the ultimate value of unpaid liabilities and expenses for all existing workers’ compensation and liability claims that have occurred prior, covering the previous fiscal year and as of March 31 of the following year.
Additionally, the consultant will project loss development costs for the fiscal year beginning in October of the previous year through September 30 of the following year using historical loss data and actuarial techniques. The scope of services also includes providing recommendations on funding guidelines to accommodate loss development, Allocated Loss Adjustment Expenses (ALAE), and Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) liabilities for fiscal years 2026 through 2029.
Timeliness is critical as the resulting actuarial report will support budget planning and long-term financial strategy for the organization.
