DESCRIPTION

The organization is seeking vendors to develop a comprehensive work order management system designed to track assets and coordinate maintenance activities. The solution should feature live dashboard views for stakeholders to monitor critical issues and support mobile device access, enabling technicians in the field to log hours, retrieve information, and document tasks with photographs.

Key system requirements include multi-user assignment for individual work orders, automated notifications and status updates to users, the ability to assign hourly rates to various position types, and structured project task organization with parent-child relationships. The platform must also offer keyword-based search functions by project type, shop, and site, as well as facilitate task assignment and status updates for individual assets.

Compatibility with asset management software that provides system-level data—such as useful life and estimated replacement cost—is essential. Additional features should include duplicate work order detection, linkage of asset replacement, upgrades, and procurement to capital projects, and automatic updates triggered within project hierarchies.
