A large, research-intensive university in Manitoba is seeking proposals from vendors to provide a modern work order management system. The objective is to replace the existing integrated work management system with a platform tailored to the complex operational needs of the institution. The new system must support comprehensive facilities functions, including both corrective and preventive work order management, asset and inventory tracking, labor scheduling, costing, and advanced reporting capabilities.
Mobile accessibility is a crucial requirement to reduce manual processes and enhance efficiency for field operations. The platform will function as the main interface for the university community to submit service requests, monitor work order status, and ensure transparent billing processes. The project scope includes system setup, seamless data migration from the current IWMS, integration with financial systems and Azure SSO, as well as thorough training for all relevant staff members.
