Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a contractor to provide wildlife area water control structure replacement services. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of an existing water control structure, except for the bottom board, and lubricating the gaskets and track with white lithium grease supplied by Agri Drain. The contractor will reinstall the new structure, ensuring it is set at the precise elevation of the previous installation and verifying that the installation is level and plumb.
Additional responsibilities include providing and installing anti-seep collars made of 1/16-inch gum rubber with a wood frame onto the pipe, and thoroughly compacting the surrounding material until the structure is half backfilled. The contractor must also ensure that stop log boards can slide easily within the track after installation. The selected vendor will be awarded a one-year contract to perform these services.
