DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive WIFI replacement services. The project scope includes supplying high-performance wireless hardware, associated software, licensing, and integration services for the deployment of a modernized Wi-Fi network infrastructure throughout the institution.

Vendors will deliver an integrated, secure, institution-wide wireless network supported by advanced management and monitoring tools. The solution requires a high-level implementation schedule encompassing procurement and integration activities, and should enable centralized management, monitoring, and control of all access points (APs) via a web-based, on-premises platform. The infrastructure must support per-session VLAN assignment and allow for the redeployment of existing Cisco-based solutions where applicable.

The replacement also includes provision of Wi-Fi access point and control system hardware and software as well as appropriate network configuration and access switches to maintain optimal functionality, even in low power scenarios.
