DESCRIPTION

A government authority located in Romulus, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide Wi-Fi enabled and on-board camera systems for mobile environments. The required system includes a high-definition mobile DVR capable of supporting at least six HD cameras, with two additional upgradeable channels for future enhancements such as a stop arm camera. The DVR must have a recording capacity of up to 10TB and support multiple recording modes including continuous, alarm, and motion recording, as well as a 64GB SD card or similar removable flash media for redundant data storage. Additional features include a panic button and protective housing for the DVR.

The system must include four interior high-definition cameras (1-5 MP @ 20 fps), offering advanced image controls, the ability to adapt to varying light conditions, and built-in noise-gating audio processors. Two high-definition exterior cameras are also required, positioned for forward and backward coverage and sharing the same specifications, but without audio processors. The integrated software must provide a centralized management solution to allow secure video downloads for authorized parties such as law enforcement and school administration, while supporting privacy protocols like automatic face blurring to protect student identities.

Vendors must ensure that all questions concerning the RFP are submitted by April 2, 2026.
