Key functionalities should include the ability to receive data from inspectors in the field, accurately calculate and record results for weighing, measuring, packaging, and price verification tasks, and ensure all collected data is centrally tracked. The software must also enable synchronization with other weights and measures officials, while supporting the transfer of collected data to the Department of Agriculture and Food Regulatory Services for establishment registration purposes.
