A public entity in Hawaii is seeking a qualified vendor to provide website redesign services utilizing WordPress, Drupal, or an equivalent content management system (CMS). The project aims to modernize the design and user experience for two websites, ensuring they are mobile responsive and fully compliant with current accessibility standards. The scope includes a comprehensive redesign of the site structure and navigation, as well as the development of user journey maps tailored to key audiences such as beneficiaries, community members, policymakers, and media representatives.

Vendors will be responsible for auditing and updating existing content for accuracy, clarity, and relevance, creating a robust content governance framework with clear editorial standards and workflows. The project calls for the development of a culturally grounded design system aligned with the organization’s brand, featuring templates for a variety of content types including articles, programs, reports, and events.
