The vendor will be responsible for migrating web hosting, domain registration, DNS, and SSL certificate management from on-premises infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS), establishing a secure, scalable, and highly available AWS architecture that aligns with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
The scope of work includes setting up an AWS landing zone, integrating AWS with the organization's existing identity solutions and on-premises network, and migrating the main website, WordPress CMS, and trip planner applications. The vendor is also expected to implement monitoring, backup, disaster recovery solutions, and automation through Infrastructure as Code, while ensuring proper decommissioning of replaced on-premises infrastructure.
