DESCRIPTION

The procurement seeks a vendor to provide upgrade services for a website built on the WordPress content management system. The scope includes an initial assessment and planning phase covering the current WordPress version, installed plugins and themes, PHP version and modules, and the Linux server and database version and configuration.

The selected vendor will also be responsible for backup and recovery preparation, including website files, themes and plugins, media assets, and the database. Environment preparation may include upgrading the PHP version as needed to ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress version supported by the current hosting environment.

In addition, the project includes upgrading the WordPress core to the latest stable release while maintaining configuration files appropriately. All existing plugins and themes are to be upgraded to the latest compatible versions, and any unsupported or deprecated plugins are to be replaced with approved alternatives.
