A California-based organization is seeking a qualified vendor to provide website updates, maintenance, and migration services, with specific support for the Mayan platform and AWS integration. The selected contractor will be responsible for coordinating and executing platform updates, ensuring the website is brought up to the latest stable release version. This includes applying updates to the Mayan application and managing any related cloud service updates, either on a semi-annual schedule or as necessitated by security releases or AWS platform requirements.

The scope of work also entails operational monitoring to maintain website uptime and performance tuning to optimize site functionality. The contractor will work alongside IT staff to create and implement a new sub-domain, migrating the existing website to this sub-domain. This process includes handling security certificates and all necessary technical steps to ensure a secure transition.

Additional responsibilities include configuring the website to ensure the Mayan platform's built-in search functionality operates as intended, modifying settings to meet search requirements, and performing any necessary document or database reindexing. The contractor will also develop an intuitive website landing page that features a prominent search bar, leveraging Mayan APIs, and providing clear instructions for users. The initial contract period is set for three years.
