Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
A vendor is sought to provide comprehensive website template development, ongoing maintenance, and support services utilizing a Content Management System (CMS). The objective is to deliver a high-quality, secure, and accessible website template that enables the creation of responsive, mobile-friendly school websites. The solution must adhere to the agency’s established design guidelines and operational requirements, ensuring compatibility across major web browsers and devices.
Key project deliverables include developing a template that features a customizable home page (with sections for district news and announcements), standardized navigation, and the ability to create pages for academic programs, faculty/staff directories, events calendars, and contact information. Administrative interfaces for site management are required, and hosting should be provided in a data center within the Continental United States, guaranteeing 99.9% uptime, strong performance, and robust security. Each site must use a namespace aligned with the agency’s DNS.
Ongoing maintenance and support are expected for twelve months beyond the contract, covering bug fixes, updates, and CMS usage assistance. Additional technical requirements include integration of a multi-language translation tool, strong encryption and authentication protocols, regular security audits, and website performance optimization for fast load times. The CMS should facilitate easy content management for administrators without technical expertise, and all data tracking or analytics tools used must be disclosed. The contract term is three years, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled.
