DESCRIPTION

A California agency is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a comprehensive suite of communications services, including website support, social media management, graphic design, and government communications consulting. The selected firm will develop and implement social media strategies to educate and engage the community, manage social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor, and create engaging content in various formats—including text, images, and video.

Responsibilities also include monitoring regional and community social media pages to track priorities and issues, resharing relevant content, and ensuring that all online communications are accurate and up to date. The vendor will format and deliver content using the agency’s email platform, perform copyediting and fact-checking tasks, and post articles to the agency website. Additional support includes graphic and brand design services for agency materials such as the Budget Book, event marketing, public works communications, and other ongoing initiatives, as well as filming and producing videos for specific projects. Web development services, including the creation of new webpages with advanced features, are also required. Regular collaboration with the agency is expected to review upcoming social media content, newsletters, and to discuss evolving communications needs.
