A North Carolina agency is seeking a qualified vendor to lead a comprehensive redesign of its website utilizing the WordPress content management system. This project aims to modernize the agency’s digital presence, improve user experience, and boost engagement across diverse audience segments. The scope of work entails all phases of the redesign process, including discovery, CMS development and build, user interface/user experience improvements, navigation optimization, content strategy and optimization, site performance enhancement, SEO, and the provision of training and documentation.

Vendors will be expected to analyze current website data and user behavior using Google Analytics to identify existing pain points and areas for improvement. The new WordPress site should leverage the CMS’s open-source flexibility and scalability to provide streamlined content updates, enhanced site speed, and strong accessibility. Specific focus will be placed on strengthening storytelling elements to convey the agency’s impact, promote donor engagement, and deepen connections with supporters. Performance optimization strategies—such as efficient coding, media compression, caching, and streamlined architecture—will be critical, as well as ensuring the site is fully responsive for mobile, tablet, and desktop users.
