The scope includes redesigning and developing the university website and individual webpages, with major schools and selected units each assigned managed sub-sites or dedicated landing pages within the WordPress framework. The project requires features such as content outputs for newsletters and social media, dynamic photo galleries, video integration, and robust content categorization by interest topics for efficient sorting and syndication.

Designs should emulate the principles of a premium digital newsroom, referencing the Nike Newsroom as inspiration, and emphasize low cognitive load, ample negative space, and clear information hierarchy. Unit-level managers will have the flexibility to customize their pages using approved, branded templates, ensuring both individuality and network-wide consistency. Seamless integration with existing university systems, including Single Sign-On (SSO), is required.

All content must be managed within a single WordPress site architecture (distinct from the university’s multi-site network), with mechanisms to syndicate news from the central hub while enabling units to prioritize their own stories. Written content will be paired with multimedia assets to enhance engagement and offer easy discoverability and distribution across digital channels.
