The city seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive website redesign and development services using the WordPress content management system. The project will involve redesigning the website while incorporating existing city branding assets and logo, as well as creating layouts for secondary-level content pages. The selected vendor will be responsible for transferring and migrating content from existing static pages in accordance with the approved sitemap.
The new website must feature an intuitive WordPress CMS, empowering city staff to independently manage and update site content. Responsive design is required to ensure compatibility across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. Key functionalities include site search, image gallery with video embedding, homepage slider/banner for featured and urgent content, urgent news bulletin capabilities, news and events feeds, community calendar, contact form, e-newsletter signup integration (such as MailChimp), council agendas and minutes portal, staff directory/organization page, and tools for organizing photo galleries and documents.
Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by April 27, 2026. The contract period for this engagement is one year.
