DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Connecticut seeks a vendor to deliver comprehensive website ecosystem redesign, development, implementation, hosting, and migration services utilizing a modern content management system (CMS). The project aims to create a cohesive digital environment that improves public access to information, enhances transparency, and supports efficient online service delivery.

The scope of work includes strategic planning, design, development, content migration, integration, testing, training, hosting, and ongoing support. The new website solution must offer a clean, intuitive, and modern user experience, streamline navigation, reduce content redundancy, and provide a flexible, secure, role-based CMS. Features should include video embedding from major platforms, drag-and-drop media management, auto-suggest and predictive search, and detailed reporting on visitor activity and web analytics.

Vendors are required to supply information regarding any artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, such as chatbots, virtual assistants, or automated support tools. SEO enhancements, search engine implementation, redirect mapping, and compatibility across all major browsers—including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and mobile browsers on iOS and Android—are expected.
