Issuing Agency

C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, Inc.

Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.

DESCRIPTION

The vendor is required to provide services for website development, UX review, and redesign. The objective is to position the C40 Knowledge Hub as a premier one-stop resource on urban climate action for city governments through the delivery of an accessible, well-structured platform that caters to all cities, regardless of any existing relationship.

Key project components include improving the clarity, usability, and navigation of a content-rich website by employing a robust design-led user experience (UX) approach, with the intent to attract and retain a larger city audience. The scope entails conducting an audience analysis by assessing data and user experiences from current users. Optionally, vendors may also propose separate research targeting new audiences beyond those currently engaged, which should be budgeted separately to allow for flexible project configuration.

The vendor will carry out a design-led UX review and redesign, using audience insights to enhance user journeys, information architecture, and other aspects of UX. The project additionally involves evaluating agency performance with respect to SEO, GEO, accessibility (WGAC 2.2), and recommendations for improvement aligned with sustainable digital practices. The selected vendor is expected to propose technical recommendations for front-end AI integration and other relevant emerging trends, with an emphasis on purposeful, ethical methods that align with C40's core values.
