DESCRIPTION
The project seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive website design, development, hosting, implementation, and ongoing maintenance services using the WordPress content management system. The scope includes publishing and updating website content such as posts, pages, and events, editing website copy, uploading and managing files, documents, and links, and configuring temporary content elements like pop-ups and alerts. The selected vendor will ensure all content is consistent with the organization's branding, identity, and mission.
Responsibilities also involve remediation of technical issues arising from WordPress core, plugin, or theme updates, and performing bi-weekly updates of the CMS and associated plugins and themes. The vendor will deliver design, branding, and UX/UI services, maintain brand consistency, integrate social media platforms, and create or edit web graphics for optimal display. Adherence to industry best practices for UX/UI and accessibility is required, along with ongoing monitoring and improvement of website performance and load times.
