The State of Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to design, develop, and deploy three secure, public-facing websites. Each website will be branded and tailored to a specific program audience, offering a user-friendly experience and ensuring secure backend functionality. Key requirements include the provision of intuitive tools to support communication, inquiry management, and training logistics, as well as robust content creation, management, and publishing capabilities. The websites must feature mobile-responsive, web content management that allows for seamless updates across multiple program sites.
Security is paramount, with expectations for role-based access controls, authenticated user sessions, and comprehensive audit logging to protect sensitive information. The solution must integrate with existing enterprise systems, such as Microsoft 365 and Esri ArcGIS Online, and provide documented APIs for potential future integrations. All websites will be hosted within a secure, cloud-based virtual private cloud (VPC), with data stored in a relational database and accessed securely through web services. The platform must deliver consistent, resilient, and uninterrupted service, include single sign-on (SSO) functionality, and utilize server-side controls to ensure restricted content is excluded from search engine indexing.
This engagement is anticipated to have a contract period of three years.
