The selected vendor will provide website design and hosting services utilizing a widely supported content management system (CMS) to create a public-facing, user-friendly website targeted at county youth and young adults for the Teen Health Matters initiative. The website will include resources, links, images, and videos, with ongoing website maintenance for content updates. It must enable non-technical staff to manage content easily, support technical SEO features, and facilitate the embedding of social media platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube, with the flexibility to add new platforms.
The website must be responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, support multiple language translations, and utilize plain, accessible language to ensure readability. Compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is required, and the website must implement SSL for security. The vendor will also develop a user manual guiding staff on adding content, videos, and resources. The contract period is one year.
