The State of Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website design and development services utilizing a content management system (CMS). The project involves creating a dynamic website that enables activities and event scheduling with features such as attendee limits, schedule displays, and automated email notifications to registered participants. The site must allow for the prominent display of alerts and support public sign-up for notifications via both email and SMS.
The CMS should facilitate real-time content updates from any web-enabled device, with an intuitive graphical user interface that does not require knowledge of HTML or CSS. Departmental pages should maintain consistent branding and design across the website. Additional requirements include electronic subscription management, scheduling notifications, restricting access to internal pages (such as employee-only sub-sites), and multilingual capabilities using solutions like Google Translate.
A fully mobile-responsive design is essential, ensuring optimal performance across all device types, including forms and calendars. The solution must include an internal search engine with search term logging, predictive search, and automatic content indexing. Content authors should have the ability to customize SEO elements for each page, and the platform must integrate seamlessly with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) as well as support third-party tracking scripts through a tag manager. The contract will run for one year, with all questions regarding this opportunity due by February 12, 2026.
