The State of California is seeking a vendor to provide a web-based reservations and recreation management system to support park district operations. The desired solution should facilitate reservation requests, validate availability, enforce business rules, and maintain comprehensive reservation records. Key functionalities include customer care services such as check-ins and cancellations, robust contact center support, and a secure public-facing website enabling reservations and purchases.

The system must offer automated and manual communications tailored to user profile preferences, including email, pre-recorded calls, and text alerts. It should also feature a web-based chat to assist users with inquiries, excluding sales-related interactions. The solution must support seamless integration between the reservation platform and external cashiering applications, ensuring a consistent user experience during the payment process. Public customers should be able to build carts and complete payments securely via redirects to authorized payment platforms. All electronic communications should only reach customers who have opted in, using their chosen delivery method.

The selected vendor will be responsible for implementing proper operational processes, staffing, and management oversight for contact center services, ensuring full compliance with required functionality. The initial contract will be for a duration of five years.
