Key requirements include comprehensive reporting capabilities, allowing users to generate and download reports detailing payments over various time periods and by taxpayer. The software should offer outputs in formats such as Excel spreadsheets and PDFs, provide analytics on financial trends, and facilitate comparisons of payment data over time. Additionally, the solution must support the creation and distribution of a variety of official mailings, including reminders for unpaid taxes, notices for unpaid interest, information requests, and audit notifications.
The platform must feature robust audit trail functionality, tracking all user activities such as data entry, edits, deletions, and payment processing by user ID.
