The required solution should comprise a comprehensive pavement rating system, which may include software, data collection services, implementation assistance, and ongoing system maintenance. The system must be capable of integrating with existing County systems and may be delivered as either a web-based or locally hosted application.
Key features include a user-friendly interface for viewing, editing, and analyzing data, GIS-based mapping and visualization, and the flexibility to segment the roadway network based on user-defined criteria. The solution should offer customizable dashboards and reporting functions, as well as export capabilities to formats such as Excel, PDF, and GIS shapefiles. If available, API or service-based access to data is preferred.
The system should operate using existing County centerline data instead of requiring a separate road network, and it must support updates to roadway geometry in response to new construction, realignments, or jurisdictional changes. Functionality for visual or automated identification of pavement distress is also desired.
