A prominent educational consortium in New York is seeking vendors to provide a comprehensive, web-based library platform serving over 250,000 students, faculty, and staff across 26 campuses. The desired solution should offer integrated tools for content management, e-reserves, virtual reference services, scheduling and booking, forms and surveys, and robust usage reporting.
Key requirements include a content management system capable of creating and publishing subject guides, course guides, database lists, and instructional content in a professional and accessible format without requiring technical expertise from library staff. The platform must also support virtual reference and communication through chat, email, and ticketing, with the ability to handle cooperative service sharing across campuses, including after-hours support.
The platform should provide flexible e-reserves functionality that can be delivered as a CMS module, a standalone component, or through alternative architectures. Additional features should include scheduling and appointment management, customizable forms and assessment tools, and detailed analytics for statistics and usage. Proposers are expected to submit their questions by May 12, 2026, ahead of the proposal deadline.
