The State of North Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a web-based Lead and Asbestos Management System (LAMS). This system will serve as a Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution, centralizing essential business functions such as application processing, reporting, curriculum management, permitting, payment, content management, communication, and compliance oversight.
The new system will replace five existing SQL databases managed by the Information Technology Division. Requirements include integration with the current website, robust identity and access management, online report generation, and full compliance with the Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Rule (CROMERR). The solution should be modular to allow for easy updates, scalable to incorporate new technologies efficiently, and compliant with all data architecture and security standards.
Professional services should encompass both the implementation and ongoing support of the system throughout the three-year contract period. The system should be designed for adaptability, centralized maintenance, and alignment with leading industry practices.
